A basic-intermediate glider, certified in DHV 1-2 class, the Jazz was to be released in 4 sizes. The smaller sizes only about 5 kg. According to the tests, the Jazz reaches a max. speed of 50k/h.
In the construction of the Jazz, Pro Design has used some features introduced with their (DHV 2) Titan, like reinforcement tape along the wingspan, and the TETS brake-line attachments.
The leading edge of the Jazz features the so-called ‘Ram-Air Pockets’ on the bottom sail, “to reduce performance-diminishing vibrations”, according to the manufacturers.
