UK Acquired Croplease rights 1992, but difficulties in obtaining subcontracted components from UTVA in Yugoslavia halted production of Britten-Norman NDN-6 Fieldmaster / Firemaster.
The Orion circa 1981 was a floating transverse device (it slid in its center on 5 to 7 cm) which made the camera quite manageable. It was little “cushioned” in roll, quite fast, with a “reminder to neutral” not very strong, but a finesse quite degraded at high speed.

A floating transverse wing with elliptical ends manufactured in Salins by Eole2000 and which had its success in 1981-82 in the north-east of France and in Belgium.
The Eole 2000 Alpha is a 1982 hang glider. This wing was a true copy of the UP Comet manufactured in Salins les Bains in the Eole 2000 factory, whose manager was Gilles Bru, founder of Air Creation. It was the first French double surface.
The Alpha achieved its maximum degree of maneuverability with a little speed, the bar a bit of “play” at low speed and the roll rate is higher. Bar left in turn, the wing continues its momentum with a tendency to engage more and more. A spiral instability that you get used. A knee-high bar, the Alpha does not Dutch roll.
The very first wings produced had irregularity in the quality of the fabric sometimes leading to an excessive lobe and was not desired. The later production no longer had this serious flaw.
The Eole 2000 Alpha 3 is a 1984 hang glider.

The Prodelta Alpha Pro was a 1986 Hang glider for advanced pilots.

The Alpha version, manufactured by Prodelta in Gémenos in 1985, wing was very agreeable and flew very well in turbulence.
