Sunglider Smart

The Smart paraglider was developed with the beginner pilot in mind. It has an improved glide and an ease of kiting, launching, and landing that produces a greater safety margin for school use or as a first glider purchase for beginning pilots.

Using 9092 E85A fabric and Grille Polyester 180G reinforced the Smart has a balance of function and durability for that first wing that necessarily receives more abuse. The 170G finishing tape along the outside cells will slow down the normal degradation of the fabric.
The lines are Power Aramid (Technora).

Sol Hoops

A dedicated glider for “Freestyle” and aerobatics, the Hoops is aimed at pilots experienced in maneuvers who will know how to use its agility. The aspect ratio is 5,81; with 54 cells and an area of only 18,55 square meters.

The sail is made of Gelvenor cloth (49 g/sq.m), with profiles of Porcher Marine 9092, and Cousin dyneema lines. Other construction features include diagonal V-tabs to reduce lines and weight, Mylar/Carbon reinforcement, and a clean layout.

The result is a glider with high inner pressure, showing strong reactions in extreme maneuvers and offering direct and sensitive piloting. It has a short and precise brake “which allows little use of the brake during the flight”, say at Sol. The Hoops is a fast machine that can reach a top speed of 68 k/h, and a minimum speed of 30 k/h, according to the manufacturer.

Like all Sol gliders, the Hoops is covered by a 3-years/300-hours warranty. It is available in one size to suit pilots of 70 to 100 kg. Hoops is a non certified glider.

Sol Prymus

Prymus 2

The new Prymus 2 (DHV1) was one of the gliders tested during the 2005 Northeast Expedition in Brazil, to obtain a model not only to be used by schools and beginners, but a glider that would allow the pilot to feel “the magic of flying” and stay for hours in the air, achieve distance flights and start free style flights.

The Prymus 2 has an elliptical planform with a lightly positive arrow shape, and 39 cells for an “extra straight side, exactness in the airfoil and a consolidated stability” according to the manufacturer. The Prymus 2 also features a higher projected aspect ratio; a new profile chosen for maximum stability, and a more refined construction for this class. Other characteristics include easy inflation and takeoff; long and tolerant brake length; precise handling; high internal pressure; stability even in high speed; light reactions during extreme maneuvers; good passive safety; and “great behavior” in thermals. The Prymus 2 is made in Gelvenor cloth with Cousin lines, it has a 3-years/300 hours warranty, and it was available in 4 sizes.

The SOL Prymus 4 EN-A Size L is described as a beginner wing, and an anywhere all rounder wing – from coastal ridge soaring to inland thermals. Very stable in all conditions.

Skywalk Cayenne

The Cayenne was developed after a research process at the Daimler Chrysler Aerodynamic Test Centre, which included video studies with micro-cameras attached to the flying canopy, in the wind tunnels. The profile MP12 used was directly refined from these studies, and it is claimed to offer “high performance and exceptional safety”. Other features include partially closed cells; reinforcements along the leading edge; diagonal reinforcement connectors and Fingerrib-Construction throughout the canopy (for stability); an original fabric for the sail (water repellent, light-weight, high UV-resistance, according to Skywalk); and a velcro outlet with air-tube for easy emptying of debris. “Manoeuvrability and performance are the ingredients of this high-end intermediate”, say the creators of this spicy glider, who also remark its “exceptional” handling and “an uninhibited max fun at max safety”. It was to be available in 4 sizes, from XS to L, when certification of the XS and L sizes was finished.

The new DHV 2 model created a good impression in the last Bregenzerwald Cup (that has replaced the Stubai Cup) in Austria.

Skywalk has completed certification for all 4 sizes of their new DHV 2 glider, Cayenne. The range covers lightweight pilots and big ones as well, starting with a take-off weight of 60 kg (XS) up to 130 kg (L).

According to Skywalk, the glider has a sensitive handling “combined with very good performance and well balanced safety characteristics” which make it for “an enormous flying fun”.

Skytoy Falcon I

Falcon I / G6Power 100

The Falcon is a paramotor and paraglider wing. The Falcon is an easy launching wing and cruises hands off. With trimmers set fast, the wing comfortably moves out. With trimmers in, the wing is a cruiser that can handle rougher air hands off.

It kites easily in zero to low wind conditions due to light, thin and strong Dyneema lines. In addition to the ease of kiting, the lines and strong fabric allow a wider weight range of pilots on each of the four different wing sizes.

Other features include:
Larger high-strength D-clamps for added safety
Easy keeper handle magnets that allow quick and easy handle stowing
Larger carabineer loops to allow for quick attachment
Bright split A-riser colors for easy line identification
9017/42 g/sq.m rip stop nylon to give the wing added strength for heavier wing loading
E38A uv coating to ensure longer wing life and reduce fading

The Falcon paramotor / paraglider wing was available in four colors – blue, red, yellow, and orange.

Sky Paragliders Anakis

Anakis, EN B and LTF 1 certified wing, is mostly to be used by novice pilots after their initial training course who seek safety and performance in a wing that is able resolve any troubles in the air.

In the EN B description range, this glider could be described as a low EN B level wing.

The main distinctive features are:
High safety level
Extremely easy take-off even in difficult conditions
Minimal sink rate and high gliding ratio
High acceleration using the speed system.
Predictable manoeuvres even in non standard flying regimes
Very low weight (4,6 kg in M size)
Material usage (distinctive material – skytex evolution – with a higher abrasion protection used on the leading edge to minimize the increasing values of porosity and a water repellent coating on the rest of the wing that minimizes ageing and degradation of the glider)
Suited for 90 to 100+ kg range.

Anakis is also suitable for MPG and PG flying. This glider can be delivered with risers with or without trimmers.
