On 29 January 1933 de Havilland DH60M Moth ZK-ACH stalled in a turn and nosedived from a low altitude, near Hawera, New Zealand. The front seat passenger, Guy Putt, 18, was killed, and the pilot, Brian Davies, 18, suffered concussion.
