Harry Garland’s J-3 Cub NC38207 on the Garland’s Seaplane Base ramps facing the Detroit River 1946
A Cub trick plane used in Jess Bristow comedy air show. When the engine is started the fuselage sags and several control surfaces fly off. Mechanics “repair” the plane, then Jean Broadhead uses it in a comic flying act circa 1944.
The Salis collection at La Ferté-Alais painted up several P2s, F-AZCE (formerly U-152 and HB-RAX) having its rear seat faired over to represent a Japanese Kawasaki Ki-61.
