The dream classic ultralight is a full three axis aircraft with a side mount stick & is covered with the certified poly fibre. This kit comes with all machining & required welding pre-done. Construction time is normally around 100/120 man hours.
In 2006 complete airframe kits cost US$4495 and included all aluminum tubing to complete fuselage, wings, landing gear, cabanes, lift struts. All aluminum sheet metal to construct gussets, All machined parts for control systems, lift struts, axles, & wings. All AN hardware to build aircraft, eyebolts, locknuts, thimbles, nico press swedges aircraft cable (rudder cables, drag/anti-drag braces). Ball bearing rod ends for control system, steel pull rivets. Main wheels, tail wheel, plans and builders video. All covering supplies through silver.
Classic Speed Wing engine requirements – Weight 52 lbs Min, 78 lbs Max, Horse power Min 28 hp, Max 40 hp.
Standard wing Heavy hauler engine requirements – Weight 68 lbs Min 92 lbs, hp min 28 hp, max 52 hp.
The Fantasy features aluminum tubing & rivet construction, CAD designed & detailed, removable wings, and light, responsive controls.
Engine options include two stroke: Rotax 447 40 hp through Rotax 582 65 hp and four stroke: half VW or engine up to 98 lb.
