The Sabre is a high wing strut braced tail dragger. Structure utilises two aluminum tubes for spars and fibreglass ribs and leading edges. Fitted with large tires and steel spring suspension, the Sabre is designed for the farm and rough field work. A large pilot protection pod is fitted.

Gabriel Poulain moved to Berlin in 1909 and started building airplanes. The first design was an Antoinette-inspired machine. He qualified for German licence No. 14 on it in July 1910 at Johannisthal. He later teamed up with Charles Boutard and built a second monoplane with a more powerful 100 hp Argus, before moving back to France in 1911.
Gabriel Poulain, a famous bicycle-racer who held at least one speed record on the track, built this monoplane, his third design, in 1912.
The 1911 Poulain-Orange No 2 monoplane was designed and built by Gabriel Poulain.
The Poullin JP.30 was a French single-seat agricultural aircraft designed and built by Jean Poullin. It was a single-seat high-wing monoplane with a fixed tailwheel undercarriage.
The powerplant was a Continental C-90 of 90 hp (67 kW).
One example (F-WGIR) was constructed and first flown on 15 August 1952.
After several years agricultural service, the aircraft, F-WGIR, was retired and used as an advertising feature for the former Bar de l’Escadrille at Guyancourt airfield to the west of Paris, where it was last noted in June 1963.

In 1912 French automobile manufacturers Peugeot, launched a 10,000 franc competition for the first man powered man to fly 10 m (323 ft) without a motor. The prize was not won until 9 July 1921 when Gabriel Poulain made two dawn flights on his ‘aerocycle’ at Longchamps racetrack, travelling about 10.6 m (35 ft) at a height of 1 m (3¼ ft). Peugeot immediately posted a 20,000 franc reward for a 50 m (164 ft) flight, but it was never claimed.
