The 1984 Fhantom has been produced to fill a gap in the market for the intermediate pilot. The machine has a floating crossboom and is docile enough to be used by a new P1. The sink rate is sufficiently low to satisfy most ridge-soaring fliers, while the glide is adequate for early cross-country efforts.
The Fhantom was only produced in one size, which suited pilots from 9-13 st., at a price of £775.00.
