The pre-War Salmson D.2 Phrygane was first produced in 1934.
Production models were the three-seat D.2 and the four-seat D.2T-4, both powered by the 135 hp Salmson 9 Nc radial engine.
Post-War development was the CFA D.21 Phrygane.
