The 1937 Porterfield CP-40 and CP-40A Zephyr (ATC 2-530) were designed by Howard Barlow, based on 1930 American Eagle Eaglet.
They were priced at $1,295, or $1,335 with cabin side panels. The prototype was NC16450 and about 45 were built.
