
The Parnel Elf was designed by Harold Bolas as a two-seat touring biplane. First flown in 1929 the Elf I was powered by a 105 hp ADC Hermes I engine and had a top speed of 116 mph.
The Elf II followed, powered by a 120 hp Hermes II which raised the top speed to 125 mph. Only two Elf II were built; G-AAIN and G-AAIO.
