The first DC-3 delivered to Delta Airlines in 1940 and in service until 1958. Had a number of owners before going to Diaz Aviation Corp in 1982. A group of retired Delta employees discovered it at San Juan in poor condition, bought it and shipped it to Atlanta in 1993. After a six year rebuild, Delta 41 flew again in 2000.
