It was instant attraction, and whirlwind romance.
I was the one privileged to marry you.
Always head strong and intelligent, but most of all caring and compassionate.
Of the 22 years we had together there are no regrets, and only one thing I’d change.
I should have told you “I love you” every day.
It was no chore to care for you in the latter times.
That final squeeze of my hand spoke volumes.
Still love you. Miss you every day.
