The Dynamic WT 9 aircraft was designed by Wala Tadeas (his ninth project) and built by Aerospool of the Slovak Republic. It is a low wing two seater, powered by a Rotax 912S, 100hp engine complete with in-flight adjustable 3 blade propeller. This aircraft is available in kit form and the factory estimates 600 man hours to build or it can be brought in semi complete only having engine & wings removed to fit in the container. The top of the range model is complete with optional extras including the retractable undercarriage, leather upholstery and a glider hook approved to tow gliders up to 525 kg. It has a cruise speed of 135kts, stalling at 33kts with a range of 1200 km using 100 octane fuel. The wings outboard of the retractable undercarriage are attached in a similar way to that of many gliders and can be removed within minutes. The 2009 price was 60000 Euro.

 

The Dynamic WT9 is light sport airplane made primarily from carbon fiber composite material. The fuselage is mainly carbon fiber sandwich construction with Aramid skin around the 46 inch wide cockpit tub to provide a greater measure of protection its occupants. A distortion free Plexiglas canopy provides a panoramic view over the instrument panel. The seats are set in a natural semi-reclining position with adjustable rudder pedals that can accommodate up to 6'-5" pilots. The wings detach from the center section with 2 large steel pins (similar to glider wing attachment). The wings are very light and the fuel stays in the stub wings for easy transport. The Dynamic is one of the earliest manufactured light sport airplanes, having passed its complete aero-elastic investigation in the UK by the Popular Flying Association, P.F.A.
The Dynamic is in the Light Sport Aircraft, LSA, category and offers the option of choosing fixed (LSA) or hydraulic retractable (non-LSA) landing gear. The base price is for a ready-to-fly aircraft equipped with Rotax 912UL with 80HP. An SLSA version features winglets.

 

More than 250 aircraft had been sold worldwide.


The aircraft has been FAA Spin testing certified though intentional spinning is not permitted.
