Eastern Ultralights Snoop II
Side-by-side two -seater. Push-right go-right nosewheel steering connected to yaw control. Aluminium-tube framework without pod. The prototype Snoop two-seater was first shown in August 1982 at Oshkosh and was available as a kit requiring 40h for assembly. The wing has been enlarged compared with the Snoop and Snoop+.
The prototype was fitted with a Cuyuna 430R but the Eastern Ultralight brochures mention the Snoop II as being fitted with the new two-cylinder ULII-02 from the same manufacturer, with a tuned exhaust and producing up to 45 hp. Not being classifiable as a microlight in the USA (its empty weight is 268 lb), this dual-control two-seater with centre-mounted throttle needs a pilot who is a licence holder.
