Eole 2000 Centaur Biplace
The take off is easy (for a two-seater), two steps, the wing flies (very good balance in incidence), third and fourth step, everyone takes off. With a very light headwind, the fifth step is seldom used. Slight "push-pulls" are enough to change the inclination. The 1.60 m of the control bar offers a good compromise for maneuverability.
Like all two-seater, the final push to landing is difficult to determine, especially since the ground effect is rather low. A push too late to result in a tendency to nose down, difficult if not impossible to catch up: the glider is heavy from the front.
Wing area: 22 m²
Wing span: 10.25 m
Aspect ratio: 5.5
Hang glider weight: 30 kg
Nose angle: 127°
