Wittman D-12 Bonzo
The Wittman D.12 Bonzo was designed and built by Steve Wittman as a contender for the prestigous Thompson Trophy, built in 1934, raced 1935-39. It was ultimately capable of over 325 mph.
The bright red Bonzo, fully restored, graces the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh.
