 Pitts Pellet
 
The 1948 Pitts Pellet was a Midget racer registered NX52120, and piloted by Bob Heisel and Phil Quigley.
A low wing monoplane with a single seat cabin, originally it had a spring-steel gear which was replaced by an oleo gear from a Waco F.
 
It was destroyed in the 1949 San Diego race. A replica was built in 1985.
