Ogilvie 1907 Biplane
 Bertram Ogilvie of Napier, New Zealand, employed by a Hastings engineering firm, began experimenting with flight in 1907. His first aircraft, a biplane, powered by a 10 hp V twin cylinder engine, proved to be under-powered and attempts at becoming airborne from a sloping ramp were unsuccessful.
