The Spirit, which first flew in 1992, is the kit built Standard Class 15m design. It was designed by Tor Jensen in USA, to accommodate a 193 cm. / 6' 4" pilot weighing up to 118 kg / 260 lb with parachute. A composite sailplane with detachable wings, built with GFRP sandwich, GFRP spar, and aramid reinforced cockpit welded tube frame.
