Kochergin

S A Kochergin (there are many spellings, such as Kotscherighin) was a member of Polikarpov's design bureau in the early 1930s, and was responsible for the LR ground-attack version of the R-5 and the heavily-armed TsKB-4 monoplane.

A design team under the general supervision of V. P. Yatsenko designed in the early 1930s an unusually compact two-seat fighter biplane, called DI-6 or TsKB-11. Production began at the end of 1935.
